This second quarter of the year has me thinking about new life, fresh opportunities, and new seasons. But part of starting afresh means parting ways with certain things. Leaving behind a friendship, a place you call home, or an old job you once enjoyed can bring a sense of sadness as the once familiar and comfortable has to be put away and left behind.
But when you feel that internal shift signaling the time to leave has come, don’t delay. Prepare yourself to enter into a fresh, new chapter in your life.
This season brings a strong sense of closure to certain aspects of our lives, allowing us to reflect on them as images in the rearview mirror. This reflection enables us to embrace the new opportunities that God is sending our way. There is a clear call to step into a new season.
Stepping into something new can be intimidating, but remember this truth: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
Often, when God calls us to embrace something new, it brings excitement. However, we can feel apprehensive because certain aspects of our lives may not be as we expected at that moment.
It’s important to remember that when we act in obedience to God, He will provide the resources and people we need at the right time. Don’t fixate on what you lack now; trust that God’s timing is perfect.
Sometimes, God has to wait to fulfill certain promises because we might become too comfortable and stay where we are, instead of striving for more and reaching higher.
If you find yourself still waiting for change in certain areas of your life, it could be that God doesn’t want you to settle there. Instead, He may be using the challenges you’re facing to elevate you to a level beyond your imagination.
In order to move forward while waiting for something else, you must truly trust in what God is doing. Faith is essential at every level we enter. Ultimately, God aims to take you deeper into the fullness of your destiny. This is all part of His amazing plan.
The more you trust and rely on Him, the further He can lead you. God is moving you forward and activating things this quarter. Prepare to go with Him and be amazed.
This chapter of your life is gonna be unforgettable!
